Walked the beach last weekend. Relentlessly beautiful. Ice caves along the shoreline were melting, but holding their own. Town was quiet, interrupted only by the sounds of an accordion echoing up and down main street.
Ice was breaking up on the little lake, and a few fishermen were out there, mostly waiting for Johnnie's to open up so they could grab a beer. All the restaurants opened by noon, and a few people trickled in.....it was quiet, unhurried and wonderful.
